—————————————-

1, Shipping Forwarder

While we use EMS or FedEx to ship an authentic Japanese sword to another country, we will use a different forwarder for those who live in the UK for the time being. We used to ship many authentic Japanese swords to the UK via EMS.

However, due to the current global situation, EMS temporarily has been halting any delivery between Japan and the UK since March, 2022. Therefore, we started to ship an authentic Japanese sword to the UK via World Cargo Logistics Limited. They offer a door-to-door shipping service from Japan to your address in the UK. The delivery time will be approximately 5-10 days, including the customs clearance process. World Cargo Logistics Limited offers shipping services nationwide in the UK.

2, Additional Shipping Charge

The shipping cost of World Cargo Logistics Limited is much higher than that of EMS or FedEx. Therefore, we will have to ask you to pay an additional shipping fee. The fee depends on where you live and the latest surcharge cost, but it will be approximately 750-800 GBP.

If you place an order online first, we will charge you this fee via Stripe or PayPal later. If you like to pay for this additional fee and the sword you will purchase altogether, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We will issue an invoice that includes both prices to complete the transaction. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you don’t mind waiting for EMS to resume their operation between Japan and UK, we won’t charge any additional shipping fee.
