T-SHIRT TAIHEIKI EIYUDEN TAIRANO HARUTAHA
His real name is Oda Nobutaka (1558-1583). He was a Japanese feudal lords in the Azuchi Momoyama period (1568-1600). And he was born as the third son of Oda Nobunaga who is one of the most famous Samurai in the Warring States period. Nobutaka was adopted by Kanbe family who ruled north part of Ise (Toukaidou area today) therefore he also called himself Kanbe Nobutaka.
Ukiyoe is a genre of Japanese art which was established in the early Edo period. It became popular among ordinary people and advanced mainly Edo city (Tokyo Pref. today). Its subjects are portrait of a beautiful woman, actors, the sights and so on. The picture of this T-shirt was painted by Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798-1861) who did well in the end of Edo period.
