This item is a Hanaire (花入れ). It is a container to hold seasonal flowers displayed at a tea ceremony. Materials of Hanaires include metals such as bronze, ceramics, bamboo, and gourds. There are several categories for Hanaire: Oki Hanaire (置き花入れ, placed in an alcove), Kake Hanaire (掛け花入れ, hung on a wall), Tsuri Hanaire (つり花入れ, suspended from the ceiling). We choose flowers in season, but we value how they bloom in nature without making them stand out.
The Hanaire we introduce here is made of bamboo. Bamboo is a natural plant grown by nature, so no two are exactly the same in color and knot shape. If you thread a string through the small hole on the back, you could hang it on the wall to display flowers. Please enjoy decorating with flowers according to the season.

【Shipping duration】
We normally ship via EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post. It usually takes at least 5-14 days to deliver the package after you place an order. Time of delivery is estimated as accurately as possible by the carrier but does not take into account any delays beyond our control such as by inclement weather, post office holiday seasons.
We offer Free International Shipping as long as we can ship your order by EMS. If you prefer other shipping carriers, please contact us.
