Miyamoto Musashi (Circa 1584 – 1643) is arguably one of the most famous Samurai in Japanese history. He is known to have many stories which the Japanese always mention when talking about Samurai. His upbringing as a Ronin is one of Musashi’s unique features, a history-defining legend spending his early years as mostly a Samurai who was not a member of any clan. He would often apply a unique sword technique Nito-Ryu, which means to use Daisho (Long sword and short sword) at once.
He fought duels against other Samurai either on duty or for his own sake and never lost to anyone. That eventually made him the honored superstar of Samurai history, as he won the duels over 60 times. He also wrote a world-famous book about martial arts and philosophy called The Book of Five Rings. His style ‘Niten-Ichiryu’ that he has established in his last years is one of the forms of Japanese martial arts being practiced even today. This product features one of the copies of Musashi’s sword made during the Samurai times.
It complements the sacred dragon with the Fuchi-Kashira fittings and has mild curvature on the blade resembling the original.

【Give the Replica Japanese Sword to Your Significant Other】
Are you looking for a unique gift for someone interested in Japanese culture?
We recommend you give them the replica Japanese sword as a present.
All our replica Japanese swords are great to display as they are precisely designed following the traditional Nihonto style.
Katana was the primary weapon of Samurai for a long time during the Samurai period. In Japanese culture, giving a sword to someone means to hope that the sword protects them from evil spirits and misfortune. Therefore, the Japanese sword still has its place in Japanese ceremonial events such as the Japanese wedding. The bride puts a Tanto(primarily known as Kaiken) under their belt, hoping that it protects them. Also, in the Shichigosan ceremony, people give a short Katana to their children wishing for their healthy growth.
