Title: Kutani ware, Sake cup

Description
It is a beautiful Kutani ware Sake cup. The entire side of this vessel is decorated with figures of many aristocrats dressed in gorgeous Kimonos (着物, traditional Japanese costume). Geometric patterns are drawn with gold paint on colorful Kimonos, such as red, pink, blue, green, and black. Their entire background is also painted with gold paint, creating a luxurious and gorgeous appearance. On the inside of the cup, letters are written with a brush on a white ceramic background. Although the typeface is old and unreadable, we assume that it contains a passage from a story or a Japanese poem.
