About Tokugawa Family
This antique cabinet has a family crest of the Tokugawa family, who was shogunate family during the Edo period(1603-1868 A.D.)
The first Shogun, Ieyasu Tokugawa opened the government in Edo city(Today’s Tokyo) in 1603 A.D. after winning a battle of Sekigahara in 1600. Tokugawa family gain the most political power in the Edo period and prospered. This cabinet was once owned by one of Tokugawa family member. And it is amazing to look at lacquered artwork with gold leaf.

We normally ship via EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post. It usually takes at least 5-14 days to deliver the package after you place an order. We will use DHL instead for those who ordered from USA or Australia as EMS temporarily stops shipping to these countries due to COVID-19. We offer Free International Shipping as long as we can ship your order by either EMS or DHL. (USA, Australia only)
