\u00a0This vertical stand features an exquisite spring motif of plum blossoms (\u6885, Ume), accompanied by two birds \u2014 a Japanese bush warbler (\u9daf, Uguisu) perched in the background and a Jay (\u30ab\u30b1\u30b9, Kakesu) in the foreground \u2014 skillfully rendered in Takamaki-e (\u9ad8\u8494\u7d75, raised gold lacquer) and Raden (\u87ba\u923f, mother-of-pearl inlay). The scene captures a poetic moment where the two birds rest among blooming plum branches, expressing the serenity and renewal of early spring.<\/span><\/p>\n
