He studied his sword-making technique under the master named Tsushimanokami Tunemitsu, who belonged to Sekido school, which was one of the most prestigious ones in Edo city. His swords were preferred by Yagyu Toshikane, who was one of the famous Samurai at the beginning of the Edo Period in Owari province. There is no maker\u2019s name on the blade. Certificate<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>NTHK, also known as NPO Nihon Touken Hozon Kai, is the oldest organization for sword authentication of Japanese swords in modern times. It was established in 1889 during the post-Samurai era. They authenticated the blade on Dec 15th in the the first year of Reiwa (2019).
