Also, the blades are made of Japanese special carbon steel called TAMAHAGANE. That means the swords are edged, and some of them are super sharp.

All the Japanese swords are considered cultural assets for Japanese Cultural Agency. Therefore, we will need to obtain its export permit from them before we ship the sword abroad. It will take about 4-6 weeks to receive this permit. Including the shipping time, we would like you to expect at least 1.5-2.0 months to receive the sword you order.

> How to buy an authentic Japanese Sword
> A guide to sword maintenance

Popular Article
Episode 1: Types of Japanese Swords
Episode 2: Japanese Swords from Different Ages
Episode 3: Budget of Japanese Swords
Episode 4: Japanese Sword Appraisers in Modern Times (NBTHK / NTHK )

Made in Japan
Free Shipping Worldwide

NO SIGNED【YASUTSUGU】康継
EDO PERIOD（江戸時代；KANBUN 1661~1672　寛文頃）

Certification：NTHK
Swordsmith：3rd Generation YASUTSUGU（三代 康継）
Location：MUSASHINOKUNI【TOKYO, SAITAMA Pref.】

The 1st generation YASUTSUGU had signed “ECHIZEN SHIMOSAKA” then moved to EDO.
