What is Hatsu-Muri \/ Happuri ?<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u00a0Hatsu-Muri\/ Happuri (\u534a\u9996) is a mask that guards, especially the forehead and cheek. According to a theory, warriors started using it in the Heian period (794-1185). It is said even lower Samurai, who did not wear armor, wore Hatsu-Muri. However, it has gradually declined since the Kamakura period (1185-1333). It is considered Hatsu-Muri, which was made in the Heian period is almost non-exist today. Many existing Hatsu-Muri were made in the Edo period.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
