【Description】
This blade was forged by the first generation Yukihiro in Hizen Province. (today’s Saga prefecture) Being a brother of the first generation Masahiro(Kawauchi Daijyo Masahiro), a famous swordsmith in Hizen Province, Yukuhiro served Saga clan.

Yukihiro received the honorable title of Dewadaijyo in 1648 A.D and gained a higher title called Dewano-kami in 1663 A.D. The name of Kami was given by an emperor to those who were excellent at sword making.
